List Description

RATS-Spam is a collection of IP Addresses that have been repeatedly observed or reported as sending spam emails in large volumes.

List Specifications

RATS-Spam contains IPs that are from compromised servers, hosts, or relays, and mail servers created for the purpose of spamming. This type of activity represents approximately 30% of all wasted overhead facing mail servers.

The list has ultra-low false positive rates because an IP Address is only added when a significant amount of spam-style behavior has been reported or observed. Therefore, we recommend utilizing this list in your anti-spam protection systems.
